ANTHROPOLOGISTS, as well as many other science professionals, have greatly confused the dietary history of our ancestry. Their overriding belief is that we were nitially carnivores. This is clearly challenged by two simple facts. First, well over half of the current population on planet earth today live primarily on a plant based diet. Second, the anatomy of humans effectively presents unshakeable evidence that we are
herbivorous and not carnivorous. Additionally, every creature on this earth besides humans and the animals we have displaced and controlled, consume a 100% raw food diet. In recent history, over the last several centuries, there have been dietary movements attempting to come back to the original food. Among the most notable are Natural Hygiene, Dr. Christine Nolfin’s Living Foods, France’s Instinctual Cuisine,
Anne Wigmore and Victoras Kulvinkas Live Foods, etc. Each of these programs not only applies food to maintain health, they often target the prevention and elimination of disease.
In the mid seventies, I had the privilege to direct the original living food center, Humlegarten. This healing center on the shores of Denmark, was founded by Dr. Nolfi, M.D. after she healed herself from breast cancer on a raw living food diet. Some ninety years ago, she was the first to offer a residential center where people could
experience the same healing fare that brought back her health. Dr. Scott Anderson,
researcher and allopathic physician, the new owner of this extraordinary facility,
was mission oriented and asked for my assistance in his conquest to heal cancer.
It was remarkable to scientifically document the results gained by consuming uncooked vegan organic food.
This gave me the confidence to continue that exploration throughout my professional life. In the late seventies, I spent a year working with Dr. Christian Schaller in Geneva Switzerland at foundation Soliel. This sprawling health center housed verything from organic farms to a quiet residential program. When placing participants on living food, we once again observed via blood profiles the positive impact that these nutrient rich morsels offered. Returning to the United States in nineteen-eighty, I was asked to direct the Hippocrates Health Institute. I had been
representing Hippocrates during the several years I lived and worked in Europe.
